Songtourage, Red Line Underground and Poor Tom's Gin presents
BETTER THAN LEGO
DECEMBER 6 - 8
OLD FITZ THEATRE
Thursday, 6 December: SEXY NIGHT
Sexy Night is all about fantasies, kink, urges, desire and other conversations I’ve had with my mum. A whole night about love, romance, awkwardness, dating and tough conversations.
Friday, 7 December: STRANGER BITS
Stranger Bits is an opportunity for some of Sydney's brightest comics to get real weird. Come and see a grown woman eat a pine cone (may or may not happen).
Saturday, 8 December: MRS CHAPMAN'S YEAR 3 CHRISTMAS TALENT SHOW
Mrs C's Y3CTS is the comedy equivalent of snuggling up with a quokka to watch Netflix Christmas movies on a 38 degree night in 90 per cent humidity. Read into that what you will.
PERFORMANCE TIMES: 10:00 PM
What's better than Lego, you ask? Probably nothing, but over the course of three hot nights this December, a hand-picked group of Sydney's rising comic talents are going to have a red hot go.
Three nights. Three themes. Three completely different, curated variety shows, pulled together by Sydney musical comedians Songtourage and featuring performances from some of their oldest acquaintances and newest enemies.
BETTER THAN LEGO will be a part of the Old Fitz Underground season. Shows will start at 10pm on each night, immediately after Sarah Ruhl’s ‘Eurydice’ (produced by Mad March Hare Theatre Company, directed by Claudia Barrie). Get some theatre in ya.
